Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc in Milton Keynes is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a busy River Island warehouse operation. You will manage teams, ensure timely service delivery and drive performance on KPIs within a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong people leadership, data-driven decision making and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. You will coach colleagues, maintain health and safety standards and contribute to a positive, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced logistics/warehousing management.
• Strong communication to influence and motivate teams.
• Ability to analyse performance data and make informed decisions.
• Proficiency with Excel and MS Office.
• Proactive, flexible approach with a results focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate operational teams to deliver exceptional service and achieve KPI targets.
• Manage daily resource planning, headcount allocation and shift performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality and productivity.
• Promote a positive, inclusive culture through coaching, engagement and development of colleagues.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, environmental standards and procedures.
