Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a proactive Shift Manager for the River Island operation in Milton Keynes. You will lead a busy warehouse team, drive service levels, and own shift performance with focus on continuous improvement and colleague engagement.

The role offers a fixed shift pattern (4 on, 3 off; then 3 on, 4 off) and hours 14:00–02:00, with a salary up to £45,000 per year, plus benefits including pension, private medical & dental, GP access, life assurance and more.

This is a full time, permanent position working a shift pattern of 4 on and 3 off and then 3 on and 4 off with working hours of 14:00– 02:00

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Previous management experience within a fast-paced logistics, warehousing or operational environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, motivate and engage teams at all levels
• Proven ability to analyse performance data and make effective operational decisions
• Good systems knowledge, including confidence using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• A proactive, self-motivated and flexible approach with a focus on delivering results
