Morrisons in the United Kingdom is looking for a proactive Shift Leader to support the store team and ensure smooth daily operations. You’ll step up in the absence of the store leadership to keep standards high and problems solved with initiative.

You’ll lead a 'one team' shift, coach colleagues, open and close the store, manage safety and security systems, and keep shelves full and loss low. If you love a fast-paced environment and taking pride in great customer service, this is a strong fit.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong customer focus and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and follow safety policies.
• Willingness to learn and use store equipment and retail tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift and coach colleagues to deliver excellent customer service.
• Open and close the store, ensuring all procedures are followed.
• Manage security systems and uphold safety and legal standards.
• Drive operational standards and respond calmly to emergencies or changes.
• Keep shelves stocked and losses to a minimum through rotation and checks.
