Gloucester Charities Trust is hiring a Shift Leader (days) for Magdalen House, a 29-bed residential care home in Gloucester. The role focuses on medication administration, safeguarding residents’ wellbeing, and leading day-to-day care operations.

You will work 36 hours per week with pay at £16.00 per hour, plus £1.00 per hour on weekends, and enjoy a range of benefits including holidays, pension, and training opportunities.

• Experience in medication administration.
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care or working towards Level 3.

About the role

We have a position available Shift Leader, (days) to work in our beautifully kept Residential Care home.

Magdalen House is our 29-bed Residential Care Home for older people. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced carers to join our Home and be part of the team working in an environment where resident health and wellbeing is of the highest priority.

The job is ideal if you are a skilled and compassionate carer who is empathetic to the needs of older people, and looking for ongoing development.

We require you to have:

Experience in medication administration

NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care or working towards/willing to complete Level 3 if Level 2 held.
