Job summary

Greene King seeks a proactive Team Leader to steer a busy shift at Pub & Dining venues in Leighton Buzzard. You’ll guide the team to deliver warm service, manage tasks, and uphold safety and compliance throughout service. The role focuses on creating a welcoming environment while maintaining operational rhythm and guest satisfaction.

You will deputise for management when needed, resolve issues swiftly, and coach colleagues to maintain high standards and a smooth customer experience.

Qualifications

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each and every time they visit.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve any issues that arise in their absence.
• Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy shift, making sure everything runs like clockwork.
• Make sure the bar is always safe, legal, and clean, and any issues are dealt with as quickly and safely as possible.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to ensure high standards and customer happiness across shifts.
• Oversee team performance, delegate tasks, and support colleagues as needed.
• Ensure smooth shift operation and effective communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
