Iceland Foods in the United Kingdom is seeking a committed Shift Manager to join our growing team. You will support the management team to deliver consistent results and be the best place to shop and work.

You will be recruited as a Retail Assistant and receive a £2 supplement for every hour that you shift manage the store, reflecting the value of leadership on the shop floor. Key responsibilities include driving availability, promoting value offers, developing colleagues, and following store

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
• Communicates effectively with every colleague to deliver store tasks first time, every time.
• Plans and organises the shift, using every member of the team.
• Provides balanced feedback when needed to improve the performance of every colleague.
• Sets the pace of the team, when on shift, by being hands on to deliver a great store.

Responsabilités

• Maximise profit by delivering great availability for customers.
• Drive sales by promoting value offers and store initiatives.
• Deliver on actions set by line manager to improve store performance.
• Engage, develop and retain great people through teamwork and inclusive culture.
• Complete actions from daily floor walks focusing on customer-facing improvements.
• Ensure cash handling and security policies are followed and standard processes are applied.
