Job summary

Caffè Nero is looking for a Shift Leader to support store operations, lead the team by example, and ensure every customer enjoys a personalised experience with great service.

No coffee experience is required initially; brilliant training awaits, with opportunities to grow your career and enjoy staff benefits and discounts. Starter rate and progression depend on performance.

Qualifications

• Experience as supervisor or team leader preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and develop a team during shifts.

Our aim is simple: through great coffee and brilliant service, we want to make a positive difference in people's lives. Shift Leaders are key in supporting the smooth running of store operations, providing great service and supporting their team to do the same. They:

• Are charge of the shift, leading their team by example.
• Make fantastic coffee… and matcha… and seasonal drinks… every order is special!
• From bean to cup, they make each customer their coffee, exactly how they like it!
• Provide great service, both in store and through deliveries. With our signature 1-2-1 service style, them ensure customers leave with a personalised experience.
• Keep the customer and back-of-house areas safe, clean, organised and ready for service. Some examples would be cleaning tables or ensuring toilets are kept to the high standards our customers expect.
• Take pride in what they do and always strive for excellence! Enjoy customer interaction

Positive attitude Teamwork, To become a Shift Leader, ideally you will have some experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader - but if you haven't got that don't worry, we'd still love to hear from you.
