Job summary

Caffè Nero is hiring Shift Leaders to steer store operations, lead the team by example, and deliver outstanding service. You’ll train and support colleagues while ensuring every order is prepared to the customer’s preferences.

With no coffee experience required, the role offers training and opportunities for personal and career growth, plus substantial staff discounts and rewards for high performance.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader preferred.
• No coffee experience required, but a great attitude helps.

• Are charge of the shift, leading their team by example.
• Make fantastic coffee… and matcha… and seasonal drinks… every order is special!
  From bean to cup, they make each customer their coffee, exactly how they like it!
• Provide great service, both in store and through deliveries. With our signature 1-2-1 service style, they ensure customers leave with a personalised experience.
• Keep the customer and back-of-house areas safe, clean, organised and ready for service. Some examples would be cleaning tables or ensuring toilets are kept to the high standards our customers expect.
• Take pride in what they do and always strive for excellence!

To become a Shift Leader, ideally you will have some experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader – but if you haven’t got that don’t worry, we’d still love to hear from you.

The starter rate for Shift Leaders in this location is £12.76 per hour, increasing to £12.91 with service.
