Job summary

Caffè Nero is seeking a Shift Leader to support store operations in our Rickmansworth cafe. You will lead the team on shift, craft beverages, and ensure each customer receives a personalised service.

No prior coffee experience is required, with generous benefits and opportunities for growth as you develop both personally and professionally within our team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader is preferred.
• Great customer service skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced cafe environment.

• Are charge of the shift, leading their team by example.
• Make fantastic coffee… and matcha… and seasonal drinks… every order is special!
  From bean to cup, they make each customer their coffee, exactly how they like it!
• Provide great service, both in store and through deliveries. With our signature 1-2-1 service style, they ensure customers leave with a personalised experience.
• Keep the customer and back-of-house areas safe, clean, organised and ready for service. Some examples would be cleaning tables or ensuring toilets are kept to the high standards our customers expect.
• Take pride in what they do and always strive for excellence!

To become a Shift Leader, ideally you will have some experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader – but if you haven’t got that don’t worry, we’d still love to hear from you.

The starter rate for Shift Leaders in this location is £12.76 per hour, increasing to £12.91 with service.
