Job summary

Caffè Nero is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise store shifts, guide the team and ensure superb customer experiences. You’ll lead by example, make great drinks, and maintain a safe, clean environment. The role offers extensive training and opportunities to grow within the company.

Starter rate in this location is £12.76 per hour, rising to £12.91 with service. Full training is provided, and there are substantial staff discounts and bonus schemes available.

Qualifications

• Experience in Supervisor or Team Leader role preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team and manage shift operations.

• Are charge of the shift, leading their team by example.
• Make fantastic coffee… and matcha… and seasonal drinks… every order is special!
  From bean to cup, they make each customer their coffee, exactly how they like it!
• Provide great service, both in store and through deliveries. With our signature 1-2-1 service style, they ensure customers leave with a personalised experience.
• Keep the customer and back-of-house areas safe, clean, organised and ready for service. Some examples would be cleaning tables or ensuring toilets are kept to the high standards our customers expect.
• Take pride in what they do and always strive for excellence!

To become a Shift Leader, ideally you will have some experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader – but if you haven’t got that don’t worry, we’d still love to hear from you.
