Job summary

Caffè Nero is looking for a Shift Leader to oversee store operations, guide the team, and deliver fantastic service. You’ll lead by example, craft coffee and seasonal drinks, and ensure a personalised experience for each customer.

You’ll receive comprehensive training with no coffee experience required, plus opportunities to grow your career and access great staff benefits. This role is on-site in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience as Supervisor or Team Leader preferred.
• Brilliant training with no coffee experience required.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Our aim is simple: through great coffee and brilliant service, we want to make a positive difference in people’s lives. Shift Leaders are key in supporting the smooth running of store operations, providing great service and supporting their team to do the same. They:

• Are charge of the shift, leading their team by example.
• Make fantastic coffee… and matcha… and seasonal drinks… every order is special!
  From bean to cup, they make each customer their coffee, exactly how they like it!
• Provide great service, both in store and through deliveries. With our signature 1-2-1 service style, they ensure customers leave with a personalised experience.
• Keep the customer and back-of-house areas safe, clean, organised and ready for service. Some examples would be cleaning tables or ensuring toilets are kept to the high standards our customers expect.
• Take pride in what they do and always strive for excellence!

To become a Shift Leader, ideally you will have some experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader – but if you haven’t got that don’t worry, we’d still love to hear from you.

The starter rate for Shift Leaders in this location is £12.76 per hour, increasing to £12.91 with service.
