Job summary

Gopuff is seeking a Junior Operations Supervisor to join our Birmingham-based Operations team. You will lead the warehouse on shift, train staff, and ensure timely and accurate processing of orders for customers.

The role requires experience in a restaurant, retail, or warehouse setting, strong communication, and the ability to cover early to late shifts (7am–3am). Join us to help drive efficient, safe operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant, retail or warehouse environment.
• General working knowledge of basic web-based software applications (e.g. Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
• Strong work ethic, punctual, responsible and honest.
• Effective communication skills.
• Organised, team-oriented, positive attitude and helpful.
• Flexible and available to cover shifts during operational hours (7am - 3am).

Responsibilities

• Leading the warehouse team on shift, leading by example and training new team members.
• Picking and packing items for dispatch to customers.
• Assist with managing Delivery Partners to ensure a smooth delivery experience.
• Contact customers for substituted or out-of-stock items to resolve issues.
• Receive product from vendors and verify counts against orders/invoices; resolve discrepancies.
• Put away stock, manage inventory locations and conduct cycle counts.
• Keep the warehouse compliant, clean, organised and aligned with operating standards.
• Support onsite Health & Safety compliance and testing.
