Job summary

Marks & Spencer in Wales is seeking a capable supervisor to lead the fill operation and ensure the sales floor is ready to trade. You will coordinate resources to serve, sell and fill, and you will stand in for the Colleague Manager when needed.

This frontline role requires hands-on leadership, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to drive productivity as the store opens. You will manage opening/closing tasks, ensure a clean, safe, well-presented store, and foster a positive team

Responsibilities

• To lead the fill operation and keep the sales floor ready to trade.
• Coordinate resources to deliver the operational tasks during fill and when the Colleague Manager is absent.
• Lead the fill operation, coaching colleagues on One Best Way and boosting productivity for store openings.
• Allocate resources to ensure a fast, smooth payment experience.
• Ensure daily operational processes are executed efficiently across your area at the correct times.
• Coordinate the team to maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented store.
• Foster a positive, inclusive team atmosphere and role-model great customer service and company behaviours.
• Support nearby stores if required and act as a key holder for opening/closing duties.
• Handle opening/closing tasks including receipt of vehicles, temperature controls, issue logging, cash handling, and TSF compliance.
