Job summary

DPD is recruiting an experienced Shift Manager to strengthen depot operations management. You will work with the Depot Management team to ensure the site is resourced correctly, planning staff numbers for self-employed Owner Drivers, employed drivers, warehouse operatives and back office functions.

You will oversee KPI targets, holiday planning, peak resource plans and ensure documentation and systems meet requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and resourcing within a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong planning, organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan resources for self-employed Owner Drivers, employed drivers, warehouse operatives and back office staff.
• Ensure holiday planning and peak resource plans are completed and communicated.
• Maintain KPI focus on Resource, Productivity, Transport and Health & Safety.
• Ensure documentation and systems are completed accurately and in line with requirements.
