Job summary

White Recruitment Construction is recruiting a Night Shift Maintenance Engineer for a tier-one packaging manufacturer in a fast-paced production environment. The role is hands-on and multi-skilled, focused on keeping machinery running and supporting continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical engineering background required.
• Recognised engineering qualification (City & Guilds, ONC or NVQ).
• Experience in manufacturing/production environment.
• Ability to read electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Electrical installation experience; 17th/18th Edition beneficial.

Night Shift Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 DOE
Hours: 42 hours per week average
Shift Pattern: 3 nights on, 3 days off 12-hour shifts, 7 to 7

We are recruiting for a Shift Maintenance Engineer to join a tier-one packaging manufacturer within a fast-paced production environment. This is a hands-on, multi-skilled role focused on keeping machinery running efficiently, reducing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement across the site.

The successful candidate will carry out fault finding, reactive repairs, planned preventative maintenance and general site engineering work across electrical and mechanical systems. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to improve reliability, maintain safety standards and support TPM/OEE initiatives.

• Blow moulding or injection moulding experience would be advantageous
