Job summary

DS Smith Europe is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team. This hands‑on role focuses on keeping the manufacturing operation running safely, reliably and efficiently.

You will respond quickly to breakdowns, perform fault finding and repairs, support a multi‑skilled maintenance team, and carry out planned and reactive maintenance to a high standard while driving continuous improvement and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to diagnose faults and perform repairs on site machinery.
• Experience supporting multi-skilled teams in maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Perform electrical fault finding, diagnostics and repairs across site equipment.
• Support mechanical maintenance and multi-skilled team activities.
• Complete planned and reactive maintenance to high standards.
• Identify recurring faults and contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Work safely per procedures and legislation.
