Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in Swansea is seeking a Multi Skilled Shift Electrical Engineer to deliver safe, compliant electrical maintenance on a busy government site, with 4 on 4 off days and nights.

You will perform PPMs, reactive maintenance, fault finding on LV distribution, lighting, and controls, support statutory inspections, and log details in CAFM systems while maintaining safety and compliance. The role offers development within a supportive team focused on continuous improvement and safe

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
• Experience delivering PPM and reactive maintenance.
• Completed a recognised time-served apprenticeship.
• Experience working with CAFM systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in line with SFG20, statutory requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Complete reactive maintenance tasks, fault finding, and repairs across LV distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, power systems, and controls.
• Ensure all electrical systems are maintained in a safe, compliant, and fully operational condition.
• Support statutory inspections and work in accordance with Health & Safety procedures, permits, and safe systems of work.
• Update CAFM systems with detailed job notes, completion evidence, and status updates whilst highlighting risks, non-compliance, and recurring issues.
