Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Shift Electrical Engineer to maintain plant and electrical systems within a large FM environment. You will work on a 4-on/4-off rotating shift pattern, covering day and night periods, and ensure compliance and high-quality service.

The role requires a pro-active, safety-conscious engineer with strong IT skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based setting. Training and ongoing development are provided within a supportive engineering team.

Qualifications

• Qualified engineering background (C&G 2392 or equivalent).
• Proactive, self-motivated with strong safety awareness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good IT skills with understanding of CAFM systems.
• Inquisitive mindset with ability to work in rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant and equipment and building services.
• Carry out planned and reactive works safely and efficiently.
• Deliver high-quality service and uphold health and safety standards.
• Manage workload, prioritise tasks, and complete documentation on time.
