Job summary

CV Technical Limited in Leek is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to maintain critical electrical systems on a large-scale industrial site. You will perform planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on motors, sensors, drives and control panels to maximise uptime.

Working a 4 on / 4 off shift, you will join an experienced engineering team and contribute to site improvements, with access to on-site parking and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience as Electrical Maintenance Engineer in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Strong fault-finding on electrical equipment such as motors, sensors, relays and drives.
• PLC fault-finding experience would be advantageous.
• Hands-on and proactive approach to maintenance.
• Willingness to work a 4 on/4 off shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across the site.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on industrial production equipment.
• Fault-find on motors, sensors, contactors, relays, drives and control panels.
• Respond to breakdowns quickly to minimise production downtime.
• Carry out electrical inspections, testing and planned maintenance.
• Assist with PLC fault-finding and automated machinery.
• Support installation, commissioning and improvement projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Work closely with production and mechanical engineers to keep the plant operating effectively.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow site health & safety procedures.
