Job summary

Wolviston Management Services, recruiting on behalf of Tioxide, seeks a Shift Asset Engineer for the Greatham facility. The role combines electrical, instrumentation, and control expertise to improve plant reliability, uptime, and safe operation.

Working with the ICON Shift Lead, you will lead fault responses, coordinate engineering support, and identify improvements to prevent recurrences. You will monitor performance, assist start-ups, testing, and commissioning, delivering hands-on

Qualifications

Qualified in Electrical/Instrumentation/Control engineering (HNC/HND or NVQ3) and relevant discipline.
Significant electrical & instrumentation maintenance experience in chemical or heavy industry.
Experience leading technicians or supervising maintenance.
Knowledge of SAP PM or similar CMMS.

Responsibilities

Lead response to electrical, instrumentation and control equipment breakdowns, coordinating with the Shift Lead.
Call out and coordinate additional engineering personnel where required.
Monitor asset health, identifying and rectifying defects before they affect production.
Provide technical guidance during start-ups and plant disturbances.
