Job summary

Tioxide, through Wolviston Management Services, is seeking an experienced E&I Shift Asset Engineer for its Greatham site. The role focuses on fault finding, coordinating plant responses, and improving reliability of electrical, instrumentation and control systems.

You will work with the ICON Shift Lead to minimise downtime, support start-ups and drive ongoing reliability improvements across the site.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Electrical/Instrumentation/Control with suitable practical experience.
• Significant electrical/instrumentation maintenance in process/manufacturing settings.
• Experience leading technicians or supervising maintenance tasks.
• Strong fault‑finding, testing and commissioning capabilities.
• Familiar with SAP PM or equivalent CMMS and safe permit systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the response to electrical, instrumentation and control equipment breakdowns, coordinating with the relevant Shift Lead.
• Call out and coordinate additional engineering personnel where required.
• Monitor asset health, identifying and rectifying defects before they affect production.
• Provide technical guidance to production teams during start‑ups and major plant disturbances.
• Carry out functional and evaluation testing on instrument and electrical systems, maintaining accurate quality assurance records.
• Use plant control systems, including Mod300 and DeltaV, to support fault diagnosis.
• Maintain clear electronic logs, accurate SAP records and detailed shift handovers.
• Test and commission new or modified instrument and electrical systems.
• Apply root cause analysis and recommend improvements to plant stability, uptime and product quality.
