Job summary

ion-tec Ltd. in Corby is seeking a Shift Engineer to maintain plant assets to the highest standards and support production with engineering issues on a Panama shift basis. The role focuses on safe, efficient repairs of plant breakdowns and ensuring all preventative maintenance is completed on schedule.

You will work under the Engineering Manager, adhering to SWP requirements, promoting good housekeeping, and ensuring clear shift handovers and reporting for continued production.

Qualifications

• Maintains plant assets to the highest standards.
• Repairs plant/production breakdowns and supports engineering issues.

Responsibilities

• Maintain PPM schedules and accurate documentation, per Engineering Manager instructions.
• Respond to plant/production breakdowns urgently and prioritise repairs.
• Ensure Health and Safety rules (SWP) are followed and PPE is used correctly.
• Manage shift changeovers to ensure production continuity and proper reporting.
• Promote good communication with Engineering Manager and Shift Supervisor about issues and spares.
