Job summary

Wolviston Management Services Limited seeks an experienced MEI Supervisor to join the M/E/I team at the Greatham site near Hartlepool. You will lead Mechanical, Electrical and Instrument technicians, ensuring planned work is delivered safely, efficiently and to required engineering and quality standards.

Reporting to the Area Engineering Manager, you will develop capabilities, monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement while coordinating emergent work and ensuring timely completion of the

Qualifications

• Supervisory leadership in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Clear communication with shopfloor teams and technicians.
• Strong mechanical equipment knowledge (valves, rotating equipment, conveying systems).

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of the weekly maintenance plan and ensure targets are met.
• Direct maintenance activity across the plant in line with safety and quality standards.
• Use short interval control to monitor progress and unblock blockers.
• Maintain strong team performance including discipline and timekeeping.
• Ensure maintenance work is completed to high standards within schedules.
• Lead, motivate and develop team members and drive continuous improvement.
• Identify training and skill development needs across the team.
• Monitor performance with KPIs and progress reporting.
• Promote a positive values-led working culture.
