Job summary

Rockwater Branksome is looking for friendly team members to join the Shacks team on the beachfront in Dorset. You will be helping guests across dining and takeaway experiences, presenting drinks and food to high standards, and ensuring safety and compliance in a busy hospitality setting.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of customer-facing experience and a passion for delivering memorable Rockwater experiences.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete knowledge of the shack's menu and offerings.
• Present take-away drinks, cocktails, and wine to Rockwater standards.
• Follow allergy procedures at all times.
• Maintain shack stock levels.
• Ensure shack equipment is maintained and operational.
• Minimise wastage and record appropriately.
• Understand and comply with licensing laws.
• Use the POS system to place orders and take payments accurately.
• Be familiar with the F&B systems used at Rockwater.
• Follow opening and closing checklists.
• Deliver the 'Rockwater Experience' to guests per Waves of Service standards.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations and upsell where appropriate.

A Rockwater Shacks Team Member is a proactive, cheerful team player, with a passion for the hospitality industry. You will focus on exceeding the expectations of the customer, and providing the best possible experience, incorporating Rockwater standards of service requirements at all times.

• Maintain complete knowledge of the shacks menu and what is on offer.
• Ensure the take away hot and cold drinks, cocktails, and wine are presented according to Rockwater standards.
• Being aware of and following the correct allergy procedure at all times.
• Maintain relevant shack stock levels at all times.
• Ensure all shack equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.
• Minimise wastage at all times and record appropriately.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of current licensing laws and ensure these are adhered to.
• Use the POS system correctly to place orders and take payment ensuring all checks are correct and all items are charged at the correct price.
• To have a thorough understanding of the F&B systems operating within Rockwater.
• Adhere to opening and closing checklists.
• To deliver the 'Rockwater Experience' to all guests by following our Waves of Service standards.
• Compliance with legal requirements under the Health & Safety Act 1974 and food hygiene. Maximising sales opportunities throughout Rockwater by upselling to guests where appropriate.
