Job summary

Rockwater Branksome, a premier beachfront venue in Dorset, is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support kitchen operations and uphold high hygiene standards. You will wash, sanitise and deliver utensils, assist with waste disposal, and help keep the kitchen tidy and well-organised.

You will work closely with chefs and the team, follow health and safety regulations, and adapt to additional tasks as required to maintain smooth daily operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Regular cleaning to maintain hygiene standards in kitchen and equipment.
• Washing and sanitising dishes and utensils.
• Assist in waste disposal and keep waste areas clean.
• Support kitchen team with timely delivery of cleaned tools and equipment.
• Organise kitchen space by storing items in designated areas.
• Work with chefs and staff to maintain a positive team environment.
• Follow health and safety regulations and maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Be adaptable to additional tasks as needed.
• Communicate openly with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.

• Responsible for the efficient washing and sanitising of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Assist in proper disposal of kitchen waste, recycling, and maintaining cleanliness in waste storage areas.
• Support the kitchen team by ensuring timely delivery of cleaned and sanitised tools, utensils, and equipment as needed.
• Assist in maintaining an organised kitchen space by arranging and storing items in designated areas.
• Work collaboratively with chefs and other kitchen staff to contribute to a positive and efficient team environment.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
• Be adaptable to additional tasks or responsibilities as required to support the dynamic needs of the kitchen.
• Maintain open communication with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
