Job summary

Rockfish Takeaway Assistant Manager in a coastal town is recruiting to join a team known for hospitality, sustainability and genuine warmth. You will support the management, train and lead the team, and help deliver Rockfish standards across a busy takeaway, while embracing the brand’s care for the ocean.

The role requires at least one year of experience as a Server or Supervisor in a takeaway or restaurant.

• Support the management team by training and leading the takeaway staff.
• Maintain Rockfish standards across all takeaway areas in a fast-paced environment.

• Work a 5-day pattern (Mon-Sun) with flexible shifts as required.

As a Takeaway Assistant Manager, you will support the management team in creating an environment where the team is inspired to care about what they are doing through motivating, training and leading by example all the way. You will be working in a busy takeaway where its key to stay calm, organised and work withing a fast pace environment. The ability to work up to our Rockfish standards and across all areas of the takeaway.

You will be required to have at least one years’ experience as a Server or at Supervisor level in a similar takeaway or restaurant environment.

What to expect?

• We pay salaries monthly but tronc and tips on a weekly basis via our external troncmaster Tip Jar, - so you can earn and access your cash quicker!
• This is a casual role working is across 5 days, Monday - Sunday availability required.
• We're are lunch and dinner dining restaurant meaning our teams work a variety of daytime and evening shifts determined by the rota.
• Christmas off, our sites are closed Christmas eve, Christmas Day & Boxing Day
• We'll provide the crew t-shirts
• We're not about extra hours, but if they're ever needed, overtime is paid.
