What you will be doing?

Join our Water Recycling Services as a Sewer Technician, where you'll safeguard the environment, public health, and maintain critical infrastructure. You’ll address issues such as blockages, odours, flooding, and incidents, delivering exceptional service while adhering to environmental regulations.

As part of our standby roster, you'll be prepared for out-of-hours work to ensure uninterrupted service. Safety is paramount, and you'll diligently uphold health and safety protocols.

Your duties will include:
  • Operating a single-person, high-pressure water jetting unit, with training provided, along with specific CCTV equipment to identify and promote repairs in our sewerage network.
  • Investigating and resolving sewerage issues to provide first-time resolutions for our customers.
  • Responding to incidents and completing planned maintenance.
  • Accurately recording feedback from sites via our IT systems.
  • Working predominantly alone, engaging daily with internal and external customers.
What does it take to be a Sewer Technician?
  • Experience or willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Basic IT skills.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative.
  • Full driving license; a 4.5-tonne license is advantageous (training provided if needed).
  • Ability to work within confined spaces and at heights without restrictions, with weight limits under 113 kg, and to complete occupational health checks including Hand-arm Vibration assessments.
