Job summary

Pulsar Consulting Ltd is seeking a ServiceNow Solution Architect (GRC/IRM/Risk) to lead architecture, design, and delivery of GRC and IRM solutions for clients. You will combine deep ServiceNow expertise with enterprise risk and compliance knowledge to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant platforms.

You will drive end-to-end architecture, engage with stakeholders, and mentor teams while staying current with ServiceNow releases and regulatory developments affecting risk management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and implementing ServiceNow GRC/IRM/Risk modules.
• Strong architectural knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including data models, ACLs, workflows, and integrations.
• Demonstrated expertise in risk, compliance, and audit frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, SOX, GDPR).
• Hands-on experience across Policy & Compliance Management, Risk Management, Audit Management, Vendor Risk Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and architecture of ServiceNow GRC and Risk solutions (Policy & Compliance, Risk, Audit, Vendor Risk).
• Develop solution blueprints, architecture docs, and integration designs.
• Ensure alignment with ServiceNow best practices and release roadmaps.

• Provide governance and technical assurance across all implementation stages.

The Solution Architect – GRC/Risk is responsible for leading the architecture, design, and implementation of ServiceNow Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and Integrated Risk Management (IRM) solutions for Pulsar’s clients.This role combines deep technical expertise in the ServiceNow platform with a strong understanding of enterprise risk, compliance, and audit processes. The Solution Architect acts as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring all solutions are scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with both business objectives and regulatory frameworks.Operating at both strategic and hands-on levels, this role drives technical excellence, supports innovation, and contributes to the continued growth of Pulsar’s Risk and Resilience practice.

What you'll do

• Lead the end-to-end design and architecture of ServiceNow GRC and Risk solutions, including modules such as Policy and Compliance, Risk Management, Audit Management, and Vendor Risk.
• Develop comprehensive solution blueprints, architecture documentation, and integration designs that support regulatory and operational risk management needs.
• Ensure alignment with ServiceNow platform best practices, architectural principles, and release roadmaps.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to define requirements and design fit-for-purpose workflows.
• Provide governance and technical assurance across all stages of the implementation lifecycle.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders on GRC and risk transformation initiatives.
• Facilitate design workshops, architecture reviews, and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Ensure architectural compliance with enterprise standards, data governance, and security controls.
• Contribute to Pulsar’s internal governance, standards, and methodologies for ServiceNow delivery.
• Technical Leadership & Delivery
• Act as the technical authority throughout project delivery, ensuring quality, scalability, and maintainability of deployed solutions.
• Drive integration of ServiceNow GRC with third-party tools, systems of record, and regulatory data sources.
• Define data models, reporting structures, and dashboards to enhance real-time visibility into risk posture and compliance performance.
• Stay current with ServiceNow releases, GRC product updates, and industry developments in regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Practice Development
• Support the development and growth of Pulsar’s Risk and Resilience practice by contributing to strategy, thought leadership, and pre-sales engagements.
• Mentor and support junior consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and technical excellence.
• Promote the Pulsar brand and personal expertise through external engagement, such as industry forums or ServiceNow community contributions.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience designing and implementing ServiceNow GRC/IRM/Risk modules.

• Experience integrating ServiceNow with external risk tools or regulatory data feeds.
• Understanding of ITSM, SecOps, and broader IT governance domains.
• Background in enterprise risk, audit, or compliance functions within regulated environments.
