Job summary

Sopra Steria is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Technical Consultant/Developer to join its ServiceNow practice. The role focuses on developing, enhancing, and optimising IRM solutions while also applying expertise across EAM and FSM.

Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience delivering solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Practical experience implementing and developing ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM).
  • Experience with risk, control, compliance, and issue management in IRM.
  • Expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, ServiceNow scripting, APIs, Service Portal, and UI Builder.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, integrations, security, and DevOps practices.
  • Relevant ServiceNow certifications aligned with area of expertise.
  • Experience delivering technical solutions within complex enterprise or multi-client environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable workflows, data models, security controls, and governance aligned with best practices.

We\'re looking for a Senior ServiceNow Technical Consultant / Developer to join our growing ServiceNow practice. While experience across Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Field Service Management (FSM), or Integrated Risk Management (IRM) is valued, this role has a particular focus on the development, enhancement, and optimisation of ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) solutions.

Working alongside highly skilled consultants, architects, and technical specialists, you\'ll play a leading role in delivering complex ServiceNow implementations for a diverse client base. You\'ll be empowered to influence solution design, contribute to technical strategy, and mentor colleagues while continuing your own professional development through ServiceNow learning paths and certifications.

What you\'ll be doing:
  • Leading the design, configuration, development, and deployment of ServiceNow solutions, with a primary focus on Integrated Risk Management (IRM) and opportunities across EAM and FSM.

What you\'ll bring:
  • Strong hands-­on experience delivering solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Practical experience implementing and developing ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM), including risk, control, compliance, and issue management processes.
  • Expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, ServiceNow scripting, APIs, Service Portal, and UI Builder.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, integrations, security, and DevOps practices.
  • Relevant ServiceNow certifications aligned with your area of expertise.
  • Experience delivering technical solutions within complex enterprise or multi-­client environments.
It would be great if you had:
  • Experience with ServiceNow Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and/or Field Service Management (FSM).
  • Expertise in CMDB implementation and governance, including CSDM, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
  • ITIL v3/v4, Agile, or Scrum certifications.
  • Experience working within self-­hosted and/or domain-separated ServiceNow environments.
  • ServiceNow implementation certifications relevant to EAM, FSM, or IRM.
  • Experience within Public Sector or government organisations, alongside project leadership and mentoring experience.
Employment Type:

Full-­time, Permanent.

Location:

UK Wide / Hybrid.

Security Clearance Level:

SC Cleared or eligible for SC clearance.

Salary:

£50,000 - £70,000 per annum

Benefits:

£5,400 car allowance, 25 days annual leave with the option to buy additional days, private medical, life assurance, pension, and generous flexible benefits fund.
