Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a solution, platform or enterprise architecture role within a complex technology environment.
• Understanding of architecture principles, patterns and governance approaches.
• Experience designing secure, scalable, maintainable solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Experience across the technology lifecycle including design, delivery and optimisation.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and guide decision-making across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define the target architecture and technical direction for ServiceNow, ensuring changes contribute to a coherent, sustainable platform.
• Establish architectural standards and guardrails, providing design assurance for significant platform changes.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable ServiceNow designs that can be delivered and supported.
• Provide architectural direction for CMDB and ITOM capabilities to strengthen data foundations.
• Shape integration designs linking ServiceNow with the wider enterprise landscape.
• Promote standard ServiceNow capabilities and reusable design patterns.
• Guide teams towards solutions balancing strategic objectives with delivery needs.
• Support simplification and standardisation of the platform while reducing technical debt.
• Maintain visibility of architectural risks and debt, prioritising actions.
• Engage early in delivery lifecycle to reduce redesign and unnecessary complexity.
• Ensure upgrades and new capabilities can be adopted without historic constraints.
• Communicate architectural decisions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
