Job summary

GSK is seeking a ServiceNow Technical & Enablement Architect to set technical standards, patterns, and engineering practices across the ServiceNow Platform and Enterprise Tools. The role leads enablement and coaching, partnering with Product Managers to ensure UX and platform consistency, while not owning delivery.

The candidate will design reference architectures, ensure security/compliance (incl. GxP), and drive reliability with SLOs.

Qualifications

• Degree in technology or engineering discipline required
• Architecture certifications desirable (e.g., TOGAF or cloud/network architecture cert)
• Three+ years in technology architecture or senior engineering producing reference architectures or standards
• Deep hands-on depth in cloud, network or digital workplace platform domains
• Experience running design assurance or architecture reviews and enforcing standards
• Track record architecting for reliability with SLOs and error budgets
• Experience designing secure and compliant solutions, including regulated contexts (GxP)
• Awareness of AI reference patterns for assisted delivery and intelligent ops

Responsibilities

• Define reference architectures, patterns and standards for the platform aligned to enterprise architecture
• Design AI into the platform and create reference patterns for AI-assisted delivery
• Architect for reliability and resilience with achievable platform SLOs
• Provide design assurance and technical guidance to engineering teams
• Ensure platform solutions are secure and compliant, including GxP where applicable
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies with architecture OKRs in mind
• Set architecture standards for supplier and managed-service solutions
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Information Security on standards and roadmaps
• Increase pattern reuse and track adoption across teams
• Advise Product Owner and Platform Manager on architectural consequences of roadmap choices
• Coordinate with Platform Architecture Director and Solution Architect on designs
• Maintain clear design documentation to enable reuse by others
