Job summary

Morson Group is seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer for a 9-month contract in the UK (hybrid, UK wide excluding London). You will contribute to a major public sector digital programme, delivering enhancements across a governed, secure ServiceNow platform.

You will work in an Agile environment with responsibilities spanning development, integration, release management, and documentation, ensuring accessibility and security standards are met while collaborating with cross-functional

• Proven experience developing and configuring ServiceNow.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience working with integrations, APIs, and complex data structures.
• Knowledge of controlled and governed release processes.
• Familiarity with secure-by-design principles and accessibility requirements.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement approved user stories within the ServiceNow platform.
• Configure and customise ServiceNow solutions in line with platform standards and best practices.
• Support testing activities, deployment processes, and release management.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation for all changes and enhancements.
• Identify and communicate technical debt, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with product, delivery, and technical teams in an Agile environment.
• Ensure solutions adhere to accessibility, security, and quality standards.

Senior ServiceNow Developer

Contract Role | Hybrid | UK Wide (Excluding London)

Were looking for an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to join a major public sector digital programme, supporting the continued evolution of enterprise portfolio management capabilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a developer with strong ServiceNow expertise to work within a large-scale Agile environment, delivering enhancements across a complex and highly governed platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement approved user stories within the ServiceNow platform
• Configure and customise ServiceNow solutions in line with platform standards and best practices
• Support testing activities, deployment processes, and release management
• Produce high-quality technical documentation for all changes and enhancements

Essential Skills & Experience

Desirable Experience

Contract Details

• Initial 9-month contract
• Inside IR35
• Hybrid working, with approximately 60% onsite attendance
• Flexibility to work from a range of UK hub locations (excluding London)
• Interviews conducted via Microsoft Teams
