Job summary

Autotech Recruit Ltd is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join a well-established automotive workshop in Buckinghamshire. The role offers a competitive basic salary (£32,000–£35,000) with OTE (£41,000–£44,000+), and real earning potential for skilled technicians.

You will service, repair, and diagnose to manufacturer standards, carry out health checks, and help maintain high workshop productivity. MOT experience is advantageous, with training provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Qualified Level 2-3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in a workshop environment.
• MOT licence advantageous but not essential.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently.
• Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional work.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and accurately.
• Maintain excellent workshop standards and productivity levels.
