Job summary

Autotech Recruit Ltd is seeking an MOT Tester or Vehicle Technician for a well-established automotive business in Northampton. You will work in a modern workshop, carrying out MOT tests, servicing and repairs.

The role offers a competitive salary (£35,000–£40,000), Monday–Friday pattern, ongoing training and real opportunities for career progression. A positive, professional attitude and full UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Diagnostic Technician or MOT Tester.
• MOT Licence preferred but not essential.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Positive attitude and desire to progress.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MOT tests (Class 4).
• Servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicles.
• Diagnostics and fault finding.
• Vehicle inspections and maintenance.
• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
