Job summary

B&Q Derby is seeking a Service Team Manager to lead a vital part of our store operation and drive exceptional customer service. You will manage a shift-lead team, shape the customer journey, and uphold safety, security, and compliance across the store.

The role requires strong leadership, emotional intelligence, and the ability to influence colleagues to deliver outstanding service. We offer a permanent contract with flexible hours (36.75 per week), a competitive salary up to £40,000 per annum

Responsibilities

• Lead a newly formed team of Shift Leads to shape the customer experience.
• Oversee checkout and front-end service, ensuring fast, friendly, reliable service.
• Ensure safety, security and compliance routines across the store.
• Inspire the Make Every Customer Count agenda with the wider store team.
