Job summary

PALFINGER Marine in the UK is seeking an energetic After Sales and Service professional to grow our service and spare parts business. In this role you will develop commercial opportunities, build long-term customer relationships, and deliver high-quality service solutions across the UK market.

You will coordinate with internal teams, prepare quotations, and drive market growth by acquiring new customers while ensuring excellent service throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Marine/offshore engineering background.
• Several years in service sales or business development.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Join our After Sales and Service team and help drive the growth of PALFINGER Marine’s service and spare parts business. In this customer-focused role, you will develop commercial opportunities, build long-term customer relationships, and work closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality service solutions across the UK market.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for service, spare parts, and upgrade solutions within the assigned market
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted partner and advisor throughout the service lifecycle
• Prepare, negotiate, and follow up on service quotations, agreements, and commercial proposals
• Coordinate service and spare parts activities with internal teams to ensure efficient execution and customer satisfaction
• Drive market growth by acquiring new customers, monitoring market developments, and contributing to the achievement of business objectives

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong technical background, preferably within marine, offshore, or a related engineering environment
• Several years of experience in service sales, after-sales, business development, or a similar customer-facing role
• Proven ability to build long-term customer relationships and deliver excellent customer service
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Self-motivated and proactive team player with strong communication and negotiation skills
