Job summary

Johnsons Cars in Wolverhampton is seeking a Service Manager/Aftersales Manager to lead workshop, service and parts teams within a top UK dealership network. You will drive performance, customer satisfaction and profitability while upholding brand standards.

With strong leadership, automotive industry experience and a track record of delivering results, you will plan, forecast and manage budgets, working closely with senior management to grow every aspect of the aftersales operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in aftersales in a main dealership.
• Drive to push the department forward and meet KPI standards.
• Proven track record of delivering results and customer satisfaction.
• Strong management and leadership skills and a genuine passion for the brand.
• Automotive or car dealership experience is necessary.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Accountable for all workshop, service, and the parts department staff, you will manage, coach, and develop the team to reach their full potential and performance.
• Planning, forecasting, and delivering sales targets.
• Growing workshop utilisation and efficiency.
• Be responsible for your own budget, you will relish the opportunity to drive the business forward.
• Working closely with other the head of business and department managers to drive the overall business performance

The ideal candidate will:

• Previous experience working in an aftersales environment within a main dealership
• Have the drive to push the department forward; working to achieve agreed KPI’s and brand standards.
• Able to demonstrate a profitable and successful track record of delivering outstanding results as well as delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Strong management and leadership skills, winning mentality, and a real passion for the brand.
• Motor trade, automotive or car dealership experience is necessary for this role.
