Job summary

Eden Futures is seeking a Service Manager to lead a supported living service for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in the UK. You will oversee a team of Support Workers, ensuring safe, person-centred care while meeting regulatory obligations and contractual requirements.

The role emphasises safeguarding, professional development through training and EdenEvolve leadership programmes, and collaboration with families, commissioners, and other professionals.

Qualifications

• A level 3 Health and Social Care qualification or relevant career experience.
• Experience in line management and leading teams.
• Caring, compassionate, with a genuine passion to help service users.
• Positive, resilient, and willing to support colleagues.
• Ability to remain positive with challenging days and maintain professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Translate the organisation's vision into everyday service delivery.
• Lead staff through supervision, training, and development.
• Promote a positive can-do culture within the team.
• Hold staff accountable and ensure adequate resources.
• Design and implement commissioned packages of care.
• Oversee safe recruitment and staffing levels.
• Deliver safe, person-centred care and meet regulatory obligations.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, MCA, and CQC requirements.
• Establish relationships with families, commissioners, and professionals.
