Job summary

Eden Futures is seeking a Care Manager in Wolverhampton to lead a service for adults with learning disabilities and related needs. You will manage Support Workers, ensure safeguarding, and drive service improvements within regulatory standards.

The role offers a 35-hour week with a basic salary of £31,200 per year, 25 days leave plus bank holidays, and additional non-contractual benefits. Sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification or relevant career experience.
• Experience of line management in a care setting.
• Caring and compassionate with a genuine desire to help service users lead independent lives.
• Ability to stay positive and support others under challenging circumstances.
• Willingness to support colleagues and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead services to develop a environment where staff can grow and deliver care.
• Supervise, train and develop team members.
• Promote a positive, can-do culture in practice and behaviour.
• Hold staff to account by managing expectations and resources.
• Make informed decisions and communicate them clearly and promptly.
• Identify needs of individuals referred to services and design tailored support packages.
• Oversee safe recruitment and appropriate staffing levels in collaboration with HR.
• Deliver safe, person-centred care and ensure compliance with safeguarding and policy requirements.
• Ensure services meet CQC registration requirements and maintain relationships with families and professionals.
• Coordinate delivery of contracted hours and payment arrangements with stakeholders.
• Identify learning needs and ensure mandatory training is current.
• Continuously review and improve service delivery.
