Job summary

Lifeways is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our supported living services in Barnsley. You will guide a team of support workers and team leaders to deliver person-centred care, drive quality and continuous improvement, and ensure outcomes for the people we support.

In this permanent, onsite role you will empower staff, build strong relationships with families and carers, and work with the Area Manager and Regional Director to shape high standards of care across the service.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (Level 5 desirable)
• Strong operational and people management experience
• Valid UK driver’s licence and ability to travel locally

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and develop your team of support workers and team leaders to deliver outstanding care within the supported living scheme.
• Oversee delivery of high-quality care for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, challenging behaviours and physical disabilities.
• Drive service improvements and quality standards across the service.
• Build strong relationships with families, carers and local communities.
