Job summary

Avenues Group in Chobham and Woking, Surrey, is seeking a Service Manager to lead two services delivering support for adults with learning disabilities, brain injuries and autism. The role requires guiding a team with training, coaching and leadership, while ensuring safe, high‑quality care aligned with individual needs.

Qualifications

• Desire to help and develop a high quality service for people supported.
• Work with Senior Operations Manager and be Registered Manager with CQC.
• Coaching and developing a team with Practice Leadership.
• Balance safety and positive risk taking.
• Use Positive Behavioral Support and person-centred approaches.
• Level 5 diploma or equivalent experience.
• Budget awareness to keep the service financially viable.
• Driving license and access to a vehicle (desirable).
• Experience with complex health needs and non-verbal users with profound learning disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly reports and oversee recruitment and staff development.
• Lead and supervise staff with on‑call duties included.
