Job summary

Frontier Consulting are assisting a national supported living organisation to recruit a Service Manager to assist the management teams in their Chobham and Woking sites. You will join across two services in Chobham and Woking, Surrey, to support adults with learning disabilities, brain injuries and autism, including non-verbal individuals who may display challenging behaviours.

NVQ Level 5 or working towards is preferred, with ideal candidates possibly stepping up from Deputy Manager/Assistant

Qualifications

• Experience working with Complex health needs, including non-verbal individuals with profound learning disabilities.
• NVQ level 5 (or actively working towards).
• Candidate may have previously served as Deputy Manager or Assistant Service Manager seeking progression.

Responsibilities

• Support management teams across two sites (Chobham & Woking).
• Lead and develop a great team, providing shift coverage and ensuring high care standards.
• Monitor quality of care and ensure compliance across services.
• Be available for on-call as required.

Frontier Consulting are assisting a national supported living organisation to recruit a Service Manager to assist the management teams in their Chobham & Woking sites.

We are looking for a Service Manager to join us across our two services in Chobham and Woking, Surrey. The role involves supporting adults with learning disabilities, brain injuries and autism, including people who are non-verbal and may display behaviours that challenge.

You will have the amazing opportunity to make a wonderful impact on people's lives and to build and lead a great team who you will support on shifts as part of the role, receiving full support from the beginning of your journey with us.

Due to the role, a majority of the working week will be Monday-Friday 9-5; however, there is some flexibility to adjust these hours across the week to suit the service. There could be some occasional shift work where you will need to observe practices and ensure standards are being maintained across the services. There is also an aspect of on call required within the role.

You must have experience of working within Complex health needs, supporting people are non verbal and have profound learning disabilities. You should also have the NVQ level 5 (or be working towards this).

The ideal candidate would be a Deputy Manager, Supported Living Manager or an Assistant Service Manager that wants to step up into a Service Manager position.
