Join Our Team as a Service Engineer at Tricel Portsmouth!

Are you ready to take your expertise to the next level? Tricel Portsmouth is looking for a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to deliver top-quality service and maintenance. You’ll be the go-to expert for reactive and planned service, maintenance, and commissioning of pumps, booster sets, and pressurisation units at customer sites.

This role offers an opportunity to showcase your technical skills while providing service excellence that reflects well on Tricel. If you thrive in problem-solving, enjoy hands-on work, and are passionate about customer support, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site maintenance on various pumping equipment including Booster Sets/PU.
• Conduct on-site overhauls and repairs of pumping equipment.
• Participate in a 24-hour call-out rota with team members.
• Attend site breakdowns and restore facilities where possible.
• Provide accurate, detailed job reports within the required timeframe.
• Complete timesheets accurately and promptly.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by management to support the department.

Candidate Profile

• Good knowledge of pump applications, including building services.
• Understanding of control systems.
• Knowledge of the latest pump industry technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to present information clearly and professionally.
• Good telephone manner.
• Effective communication skills across all levels, from engineers to directors.
• IT literacy (training provided for our service software).
