Job summary

Anglian is seeking an experienced Window and Door Engineer to service our installed Anglian products across the East Kilbride area. You will visit customer homes, identify faults, and take corrective action under warranty while upholding our high quality standards.

The role requires customer-focused professionals with strong communication and time management skills, full driving licence, and willingness to travel. A van, PDA, mobile and tools are provided.

Qualifications

  • Experience in uPVC installation and maintenance or a relevant qualification.
  • Excellent customer service skills in a customer-facing environment.
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based role.
  • A willingness to travel and flexible in the working week.
  • Strong time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Visit customer homes, identify faults and take action in line with warranty and quality standards.
  • Explain correct product care to customers.
  • Provide high levels of service to every customer.
  • Complete service calls on schedule using Right First Time approach.
  • Accurately complete paperwork and update PDA records.

Job description

Are you an experiencedWindow and Door Engineerwho takes pride in their work? Do you have a passion for exceptional customer service? Are you someone who wants to get the job done right, first time every time?Do you have previous experience of uPVC installation and maintenance?

OurWindow and DoorEngineersare essential to efficiently & effectively assist our customers with any product and installation related maintenance for Anglian installed products covered by our 10-year warranty. We will provide all the tools and equipment that you will need to carry out this role including a van, PDA, mobile phone and tools.

Your duties will include:

  • Visiting customer homes, identifying the fault and taking the appropriate action to rectify in line with our warranty and our quality standards
  • To demonstrate & explain correct product care to customers
  • Be customer focused and provide a high level of service to every customer
  • Completing service calls as scheduled and in a timely manner using our, “Right First Time” approach, helping to reduce any cancelled appointments
  • Accurate and timely completion of paperwork and regular updating of the supplied PDA device

You will need:

  • Experience of uPVC installation and maintenance (or relevant qualification)
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience in a customer facing environment
  • Be able to work on your own initiative in a standalone field based role
  • A willingness to travel as required and show flexibility within the working week
  • Good time management skills
  • Good communication skills
  • A full driving license
