Job summary

Anglian is seeking an experienced Window and Door Engineer to install and maintain our uPVC products and uphold warranty standards. You will visit customer homes, diagnose faults, advise on care, and complete service calls with a Right First Time approach while managing paperwork on a PDA and travelling as required.

A full driving licence and customer-focused mindset are essential. We provide a company van, PDA, mobile, and tools, plus 31 days holiday, birthday off, and health-related benefits

Qualifications

• Experience of uPVC installation and maintenance (or relevant qualification).
• Excellent customer service skills in a customer-facing environment.
• Ability to work independently in a standalone field-based role.
• Willingness to travel and flexibility within the working week.
• Good time management and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer homes, identify faults and rectify in line with warranty and quality standards.
• Demonstrate and explain correct product care to customers.
• Provide high level of service to every customer.
• Complete service calls on schedule with Right First Time approach.
• Accurate completion of paperwork and updates on the PDA device.

Job description

Are you an experiencedWindow and Door Engineerwho takes pride in their work? Do you have a passion for exceptional customer service? Are you someone who wants to get the job done right, first time every time?Do you have previous experience of uPVC installation and maintenance?

OurWindow and DoorEngineersare essential to efficiently & effectively assist our customers with any product and installation related maintenance for Anglian installed products covered by our 10-year warranty. We will provide all the tools and equipment that you will need to carry out this role including a van, PDA, mobile phone and tools.

Your duties will include:

• Visiting customer homes, identifying the fault and taking the appropriate action to rectify in line with our warranty and our quality standards
• To demonstrate & explain correct product care to customers
• Be customer focused and provide a high level of service to every customer
• Completing service calls as scheduled and in a timely manner using our, “Right First Time” approach, helping to reduce any cancelled appointments
• Accurate and timely completion of paperwork and regular updating of the supplied PDA device

You will need:

• Experience of uPVC installation and maintenance (or relevant qualification)
• Excellent customer service skills and experience in a customer facing environment
• Be able to work on your own initiative in a standalone field based role
• A willingness to travel as required and show flexibility within the working week
• Good time management skills
• Good communication skills
• A full driving license
