Mansell Recruitment Group is seeking a Planned Service Engineer to join an established engineering business specializing in sheet metal machinery and machine tools. The role covers Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and the surrounding M1 corridor, west of London.

You will carry out routine planned maintenance on machine tools, develop your technical skills, and build strong relationships with customers while identifying opportunities to promote equipment and products. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in engineering or equivalent.
• Logical and consistent employment history indicating interest in engineering.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems is advantageous.
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated and eager to learn.
• Ability to use your own initiative and work independently.
• Professional presentation and a customer-focused approach.
• Strong communication skills with ability to liaise at all levels.
• Flexibility to travel across the designated region and adapt working hours.

We are recruiting for a Planned Service Engineer to join an established engineering business specialising in sheet metal machinery and machine tools.

This role will cover Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to move into a field-based service role, with full training provided through a structured programme of in-house and on-site learning.

You will be responsible for carrying out routine planned maintenance on machine tools and associated equipment, developing your technical skills while delivering excellent customer service. The role will also involve identifying opportunities to promote machinery, equipment and associated products.

The position covers Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and the surrounding M1 corridor, west of London. Flexibility regarding working hours and travel is essential.
