Mansell Recruitment Group is helping a respected engineering business recruit a Planned Service Engineer to cover Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and surrounding M1 corridor. The role is field-based with full training, you will carry out planned maintenance on machine tools and related equipment while building customer relationships and promoting machinery.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification (apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3) is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills are essential.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine planned maintenance and servicing of machine tools and equipment.
• Develop skills to diagnose and resolve machinery issues.
• Build relationships with customers and promote machinery and related products.
• Work independently, manage workload and prioritise customer requirements.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service.
• Participate in structured training to develop field engineering capabilities.
