Qualifications

• Engineering qualification via apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience in an engineering environment.
• A logical, steady employment history showing interest in engineering.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems is advantageous.
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated and keen to learn.
• Ability to use own initiative and work independently.
• Professional presentation with a customer-focused approach.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with people at all levels.
• Willingness to travel within the designated region and adjust working hours when required.

This role will cover Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to move into a field-based service role, with full training provided through a structured programme of in-house and on-site learning.

You will be responsible for carrying out routine planned maintenance on machine tools and associated equipment, developing your technical skills while delivering excellent customer service. The role will also involve identifying opportunities to promote machinery, equipment and associated products.

The position covers Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and the surrounding M1 corridor, west of London. Flexibility regarding working hours and travel is essential.
