Job summary

Start Monday is seeking a hands-on Mobile Service Engineer to support customers across the butchery, hospitality, medical, packaging and food processing industries. The role involves working on vacuum packaging machinery and tabletop slicers, with a mix of customer-site and workshop-based work.

You will install, service, maintain and repair equipment, diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance and refurbishments, and provide technical support and training.

Qualifications

• Hands-on service/field engineering experience preferred.
• Good mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Experience with single and three-phase power.
• Practical fault-finding abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ideally based within 30 minutes of the main office.

My client is looking for a hands‑on Mobile Service Engineer to join their established team, supporting customers across the butchery, hospitality, medical, packaging and food processing industries.

The role will predominantly involve working on vacuum packaging machinery and tabletop slicers, with a mixture of customer‑site and workshop‑based work.

The Role

• Carry out preventative maintenance and refurbishments


• Provide customers with technical support and training


• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records

About You

• Previous Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer experience preferred


• Good mechanical and electrical knowledge


• Experience with single and three-phase power


• Practical, hands‑on approach to fault finding


• Full UK driving licence


• Ideally based within 30 minutes of the main office
