Job summary

Trinity Fire & Security Systems is seeking a Management Accountant in Abingdon to oversee the month-end management accounts for the Service division. You will liaise with Service Field Line Managers and senior management to reflect contract performance and aim for monthly financial targets.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will review monthly service revenue, post reallocation journals, and analyse engineering productivity and labour variances.

Qualifications

• AAT qualification or pursuing ACCA/CIMA.
• Proficient with Word and Excel.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Good telephone manner and ability to communicate financial info to non-financial users.
• Capable of planning ahead and organizing workload to meet deadlines.
• Team player with drive for process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Review service revenue and billing completeness with the service delivery team.
• Prepare national contract consolidated billing and post reallocation journals for job costing.
• Produce month end management accounts for the Service Division and present results.
• Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet codes for management review.
• Calculate monthly engineering labour productivity and investigate variances.
